Ivan visited the Island, refered to as The Storm or by some 9-11 because he spent 36 hours before during and after 9/11. Not a high category but he had over extended his stay. We had spent days restoring zinc to roofs, cutting trees off roads to open them to traffic, working at the farm - a third of trees had broke over a third had root balled and fell over the others were stripped of leafs and fruit, running ice to our igloos in the hills for those without current for refrigeration,,,,,,,
A few road closures due to protest over not having current restored was going to have us leaving early for our flight,,,
