Bob, as if you are the moderator of morality on the board...My mother has just had her 8th heart surgery, after being revived by the paddles countless times in the last month, alone. Perhaps you should reserve judgement about why someone is doing/not doing what you think they should on the board. I didn't choose to "hijack" the board with the serious concerns I have about my mother, as I doubt anyone can help with that...But for yours and anyone elses concern,in the MIDST of what my mom is undergoing I have been GRAVELY concerned not to have heard from a dearly, deary beloved friend for several months.
My cell phone is also totally lame, and, for some totally irresponsible reason (you can be sure), replacing it has not been a priority at this moment. I do truly appreciate your concern.
For those who might connect with Collin, tell him "Poots" will be in touch soon.

Truly flabbergasted by the judgement and suppositions coming at me. Since when did I become "wrong" in any way for caring about someone? I asked if anyone had seen him. Not what anyone supposes about our relationship. Check the bad mindedness, Man. I have nothing but love for him, and he for me...The rest is no one's business.

Sincere thanks for those who let me know he is alive and well. I'm sure we will link up soon.
    Blessings,

    Sweetness,
If you should see Collin, please let him know mi lang fi 'ear 'im vice. My mother is very ill at this time, so I have not had the where with all to track people down in Negril who can possibly go find him. I am worried about my mother's life right now.. I have a few minutes at ass-o-clock in the morning to get online and see if there are any new developments. So far, only insults and innuendos...Unnnnbelievable how rude and insensitive people can be about folks they don't know the first thing about...
I suspect Collin no longer has my number. If you see him, will you please ask him to call me at 828-290-0210.
I'm wishing you a safe and wonderful trip. Soak up all the vibes you can for me, too!
    Peace n gratitude,
    Kim

BeccaJean, If you're offering to go to Kingston, pay the fees and wait the years for (Possible) clearance for one of so many 'Nattys' that, in Jamaica, are "personal non grata." then maybe you've got a lot more $ than I do? or better ideas than we have exhausted over all of those years. Trus' mi, it hasn't gotten easier over those years either. Just try a day-trip to the offices in Kingston one day....it's a great tourist attraction. :-)

Thanks, Kim. In short, we just "vibed him up." I did get a message to JahB, but he never saw Collin, who is in Bread Nut Walk. Comedy of errors, but all is cool and well. Thanks all the people that responded caringly. I spoke with Collin last night. All is love.

Kim - I am happy you were able to track each other down, and hope all is well with your Mom. I know what it is like to be stressed with family medical problems. This is a big weekend/Monday for our family - my nephew is donating a kidney to his father with surgery scheduled for this Monday. Once I know all is well, I will be able to plan my next trip to JA (hopefully for a couple of months this winter - retirement is great for having available time).
    Cheers
    BCBud

PS Love your board name - for any newbies "Pootoos" in patois roughly translates to "little darling".

UPDATE: I have spoke with Collin and all is well and Blessed. Thanks from our hearts to those of you who helped us get reconnected. It's an interesting trip sometimes in Jamaica! It's nice to know there are so many good-hearted people connected to and through Jamaica. Keep the love going and growing.

Thanks for all the "SWEETNESS", Sweetness. My mom's is doing pretty well. New job is going well, and my Darling is safe and sound in Bread Nut Walk right now. Wish I could be there to drink one col' red stripe...hell, one Holyfield Rum Punch, to celebrate.
Please soak it all up and a few extra ounces for me too.
    Love and more love,
    Kim (Poots)
