That looks cool. do you know of anyone that offers rides there? like a tour of some sort? i imagine a taxi would be expensive for a 30 minute drive

I went to Blue Hole on Monday. There was two of us...a taxi cost us $40 and a $10 entrance fee. We did not jump or walk the ladder going deep down into the spring but we did get in the pool. The guide told us they are trying to build a hotel towards the back of the property...So far, it looks good! I'm not sure about any tours but the taxi we used also took us to the "Bob Marley" Hole. Its a cave with spring water, the locals said Bob was a frequent visitor.

if i dont get into that thing it wont be worth it for me.

It was $40 altogether for 2people and the $10 entrance fee covered us both plus the taxi driver. The Bob Marley hole was right down the road from the Blue Hole..its not hard to find at all if your driver is familiar with that area. The Marley hole is only 10 feet deep with very clear water...we were not charged to swim in it or look at it but we did leave a small tip for the local guy who told us a rather interesting story about the hole and Bob. I don't have the contact information for the Driver...sorry. It only took us an hour to arrive at the location.

Yes, you are allowed to go in and swim. The Blue Hole is deep and I'm not a good swimmer. I learned to do a few simple swim techniques since my last trip in May but I definitely wasnt ready to go down the ladder...thats why I stuck to the Mineral Pool instead.
