Kaycee and Babalew - the JAsagna was really delicious and just made it up. It was very rich but I kept saying all the steam veg in it balanced things out. LOL

M&G - hope all is well with you guys. So cool that even one day together and its seems like yesterday. I will likely stay a month (give or take depending on business). I have stayed at Banana Shout before and LOVED IT. It is a very special place. I HIGHLY recommend it. You can see some amazing photos and my trip reports from back in April but just because I miss is so much and hope to stay there again at the end of my reach ---- here are a few to share for now. Sweetness - just got back in after a long weekend of travel and saw your post. I am not much of a appointment maker in Ja, to have to be somewhere at a certain time is the antithesis of why we go, but having followed you adventures over the years would love to visit with you. That said I am a driver and I love a slow windows down crawl from beach to Out of Town pastry, do it a couple times a day at least, now that I know your yard I'll keep an eye out. I have to get a new simm and phone so I don't know my # yet, PM me yours and we'll give a call. Catcha is our last night dinner stop, bottle of wine and memories of the trip shared with some of the best food in Negril,,,, it's our little splurge to fight last night in depression.
As to photo tips, I have none, I bought a D40 when they first came out and it does all of the work, my best estimate is that I use the camera maybe at the most for an hour when we are in Ja, just one more thing to think about when I am there to think about nothing. You have to admit the subject matter in Ja far exceeds this photographers skill level,,,,, let it happen, point, shoot, be thrilled when we come home, 4 sleeps?
I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.
Chet/Coleen - no worries, I am the same - no appts, no hurry, even when I want to most time can't make to my own plans (lol). I do go to the beach for the day a few times a week, shope in town every couple days cuz of the small fridges (lol) but usually inna yaad so stop by anytime - the Security guard will know if I am in and if I am I welcome a visit any time. We will exchange numbas but feel free to just stop if you feel like it. Catcha is so wonderful and the best way to cap off a great reach so great plan there.....I am at Catcha GARDENS out by Villa Sur Mer but I will be stoppin in at Ivans/Catcha seaside a few times too. Love it there. Hmmm mi thinks you are too modest about the photography but agree the subject matter makes it easy to capture beauty. See you soon. Bless up every time!

OMG that boardie name is hilarious.Tanfastic.....I am at Catcha Gardens which is further down West End from Catcha Falling Star but I will be around town and hope to meet you. You will love Catcha - it is a beautiful property - very special. the food there is AMAZING!!!! enJOY yourselves and be safe!!!!! ONE LOVE
The recipe is very easy......boil the lasagna noogles and let them dry a bit. Make the bechumel (melt 5 tbsp butter, add 4 tbsp flour to make a paste and let it cook a minute or two until sandy colored, then add 4 cups of milk). Sautee some veg - I used calaloo, carrot, sweet peppa, onion, garlic (lots) and cabbage. Then just layer noogles, veg, sauce and mozzarella cheese and then top with more cheese. Seven million calories but very delicious (lol).
