Great info! Can you give me any idea of your day trip costs to YS and Pelican with transport? I would like to do that with 8 people from Negril. Thanks...

Unfortunately, Alfred (driver) is no longer with us. Not sure if the business is still running under his name or not...

You are really well versed in all aspects of Negril food, people, culture etc. I enjoyed reading it all. One thing for entertainment, I would recoomend is the live reggae band at The Boat Bar on Friday afternoons. Great Irie vibes! Everybody is really digging it ! The Patty man with the cardboard box on his bicycle is Norman. Good guy to talk to for a quick couple minutes, as he is busy , makin' a livin'. Generally sells out his box quickly, so if you want one or two, better decide now, or try to catch him the next day. When are the dates you all are coming to Negril? I don't think I caught that? Best in the West is a neat little place to hang out, plus some of the best jerk chicken and low priced. Have fun! IRIE MON' !

    RnRFarmer,

As Bnewb mentioned - this thread is over 2 years old. And much of the specific information is now out of date.

Most everyone of the people who posted in this thread have been here at least once since this was posted. And some more than once... (grin)

Yeah Rob, I'm a little "slow" sometimes, I thought it was odd when there was the mention of the For Real bar. Sorry for being a ditz. Going to this website is a highlight of my almost everyday. I guess I'm a Negrilaholic ! Get caught up in the excitement !
