I agree with this notion of Red Stripe tasting different outside of Jamaica. I've always said that Red Stripe only tastes its best with sand under my feet.
Johio
it doesn't and neither does the Magnum Tonic Wine. <<<<< that tastes NASTY here in the states!!

OK Luv, Educate me. What is Magnum Tonic Wine??
RS does NOT taste the same here IMO
it reminds me when a friend moved from Milwaukee to NOLA and had us bring him Miller High Life because he said the Miller sold in NOLA tasted different so the first time I visited him I bought a 6 pack down there and sure enough he was right, it wasn't the same at all
Red stripe light is totally different..tastes lighter in jamaica..they aren't even close in my opinion
I wont say the same for Wray & Nephew.....That kicks my butt anywhere.....
Man, when you are walking down the beach, with the scent of a sea breeze and the smell of smoke coming off a grill, It's Red Stripe time.
The taste of Red Stripe mixed with the aromas of the Caribbean waters and jerk chicken all mixed together?
Man, ya got to be in Jamaica!!!
Try pinching your nose and tasting something.
It just aint the same.![]()
Markospoon......
you forget the smell of coconut oil, and other sun tan oils, mixing with the ladies expensive beach "scents".........just dont "pinch your nose" when they pass............![]()
