True dat,Rambo & Marko ,but I gotta say ,live out side of chi town,looked at a bottle right now...product of Jamaica brewed & bottled by des nose & Getty Kingston,to me it tastes great!!wifey and I put away some stripers....you should see our recyclables some times

It's not you! I have bought R.S. several times and it usually has a bit of the "skunky" taste. I bought a six on R.S. light last night and the first one had the "skunky" taste but the 2nd, 3rd, 4th were better
There is R.S. brewed in canada but I think it is canned only.

When I look at the Red Stripe available in Minneapolis... The bottle says it's bottled in Conneticut. ALSO, I think the Liquor laws are different in JA than the US and the beer might have a slightly higher alcohol content. It still tastes good, but definately not the same.

The Red Stripe in KC isn't the same. I really liked the Dragon Stout Spitfire in Negril. Here I've added some spiced rum to Guiness or a local stout and it came pretty close.

I think Red Stripe tastes great everywhere, but I pretty much like all beer great and crappy.
