~~ Sweetness Trip Report - BEACH DAY Bourbon Beach and Kuyaba

[Sweetness]

Headed in to the beach today cuz the sun was shinin. Got to BarBBarn and Pinky in the shop told me they are closed for Sept and a likkle more for low season break. First time ever I could hang at my fav spot but supposed to reopen on Friday so soon come. Walked next door to Bourbon Beach for lunch (nachos as big as my HEAD) sayin hey to Ann on the way. Friend met up and we hung on the beach briefly before afternoon clouds and rain came in. We went up under the roof at Kuyaba and had a lovely chat. Bigger rain came as we left and made our say back to West End. It was a nice day!

It is very quiet right now. I have never been here in Sept/Oct but it is similar to June which is my favorite time to come except its much cooler which is a blessing. Praying for lots of tourists for high season to boost the economy. Trying to do my part (lol).

Booger you sweet man. I am so happy you enjoy my posts. I am not a good story-teller but taking photos is a passion of mine and if they can bring emotion that is even sweeter. We all share this bond of these sights, sounds and people. So its a pure pleasure to post and share. [you crack me up Mr. Two Tickers, I picture your hand hovering over the "button" EVERY DAY. wow that beach looks so quiet! And even though I go in slow season, I have never been there when Bar B Barn was closed. One time I went for labor day holiday and it was so hot. But there were more people there then what shows in your photo. And I was mainly on the West End and there was also a big tropical storm that wiped out a couple days or traveling around--just stayed put. I have never had the luxury of staying as long as you do and always had to go back home and to work after 10 days

I was only at one little piece of the beach but it seemed steady but not crowded like high season. FruitA lady came by and gave me some smooches, Neville w/patties, cane man, tours, the usual where I was at BBBeach. Always activity around. I think after Labor Day and into Oct is re-group and get ready time. I am so blessed to have long stays - it has just worked out at certain times in my life but many times it was while working and for 10 days too. Your times will come.
