How do the Jamaican business and people feel about Canadain $? Just wondering since its been bouncing above and below par lately.

There are businesses here that will take Canadian dollars...but there's more of a chance that you'll run into difficulty using the Canadian money.
It's easiest to use Jamaican and American money....and remember when you use American, most places will give you Jamaican currency in return.

go to the cambio at Sunshine Plaza or the Scotia bank to change to ja $, our driver though will accept can $, but otherwise pay in ja $, soon come

We just change the Canadian dough to Jamaican dough with no need for American dough. So much easier just to use Jamaican currency.

Yeh, whatever you do, don't change your money twice, cause you will lose twice! We just use ATM machines but Cambios work too...you put in that tired old Canadian debit card and out comes pouring out lots and lots and lots of jamaican dollars!! It kind of makes you feel rich until you realize what it will buy you! Just keep your business private and be secure in any transaction at ATM or even Cambio.
