Re: Scooter Rental Help & Suggestions (3rd Atempt to Contact Banmark)
Rob,
I received an email from Mark @ Banmark....Thanks Rob for your help.
Mark is no longer renting scooters he told me in his email. He is moving more towards selling than renting.
I will contact Jah's and see if they have availability for November rentals.

CC its the slow season and each and every bike rental place will be full of bikes to chose from-no need to pre book. Plus you may be able to negotiate a better rate face to face. Respect

Elvis is great, he never runs out of bikes. If all else fails, there is always Gas .....

Re: Scooter Rental Help & Suggestions (3rd Atempt to Contact Banmark)
In November there will be little difficulty in renting a scooter for a reasonable price from any of several reputable rental places. This is still low season, remember that when you negotiate your rental. You should easily be able to get a one week scooter rental for $200 OR LESS depending on your negotiating skills! Jamaicans are very smooth negotiators.
And although I have not had the pleasure of meeting Marko, in his postings he comes across as a helpful, informative good guy!

Re: Scooter Rental Help & Suggestions (3rd Atempt to Contact Banmark)
I've been using Prento motorcycle/scooter rentals for the last 7 years. He's across from Negril Gardens Resot...I always rent a big bike (Honda Shadow) for 5 weeks. He's always treated me right & I always call ahead & reserve my bike cause I come in high season. His personal cell # 876-412-8607 tell him Jack from Chicago referred you.

Re: Scooter Rental Help & Suggestions (3rd Atempt to Contact Banmark)
Thanks everyone. For the advice and the assistance. I'm either going call Prentos or Jah's I believe. Still on the fence about waiting till i get there, but I'll try. I know, I know too much planning, but hey its a big wedding anniversary this trip (15yrs) and its been awhile since we were back on the rock much less had the ability to take a vacation.
One reason we go back to Negril is because I haven't found a single place that I feel more relaxed, slower pace, friendly people and beautiful landscape as there. As soon I as land, grab our luggage and find our driver a wave of stress literally melts off me into the wind. I swear its true. Used to be we went once or twice a yr. I think not being back, not being in the know like we used too be just kinda makes ya stressed and for me an over planner.
