I think even the water tastes better in Jamaica. I remember when I first arrived thinking that even the water tasted a little like coconut. Then I decided that the coconut actually tasted like the water kicked up a hundred notches. My theory is there is something magic that happens as the water filters through the limestone that just makes everything on the island taste better - the fruit, the veggies, the animals - you name it. It helps too that everything is so fresh and unprocessed.

Tops on my list to have when I get back - Shamrock's o.j., curried shrimp with rice and peas (everything tastes better with rice and peas!) and jerk chicken.
