    Negril Bakery

Can anyone recommend a good bakery to buy a birthday cake in Negril?? Thank you in advance for all replies.

I would recommend Jenny's on West End but you need to give a day or two notice. She made a DELICIOUS pineapple cake for me - they make "special" cake too so be sure to make your order clear (lol) or it may be the happiest birthday EVER (lol)

Also in town is Devinshire Bakery near the roundabout and they have all kinds of cakes, pastry, ice cream.

Hammonds Bakery right at the round about. Have gotten several birthday cakes there that have all been tasty.

Two years ago we arrived in Negril on Feb. 26. My girlfriend's birthday was the next day. I contacted Chris at Seastar in advance and he ordered the cake for me. I don't know who he used but it was the BEST chocolate cake I've ever had. It was also beautifully decorated. Maybe you could contact Seastar and find out who they use.

I second Hammonds. The service may be surly, but the goods are GREAT! Tam and I still are debating which is better, Juicy Patty or Hammonds Tastee Patty. The Black Forest Cake rocked!

    Hammonds for sure

Be sure to go in and order a few days before you want it and call before you go pick up to be sure the delivery has been made to the Negril. The cakes are not made in Negril.

Right there with you RockRobster! A Jamaican friend hooked us up with Hammonds for patties after years of eating Jucy's. Now we get some from both to take back to our place. Yummy!

Our daughter was recently married at Blue Cave Castle and Hammonds baked the cake. They bake them at their Sav bakery and ship them to Negril. Not only was the cake beautiful, it was good tasting too. You can reach Avis Hammond at: bakery.hammonds@gmail.com
