My friend the Dr Bird that loves one particular branch by the pool finally cooperated today. My dream has been to get a good photo of a Dr. Bird. So life is hilarious so my first shot was the two that fell from the sky to the patio and played dead after their mid air duel I guess LOL.....then the many that have been flying around the gardens here at Catcha Gardens are so fast and just haven't had the chance to get a good one UNTIL TODAY.
So this bird starts but posing for some great shots then takes a bow, flutters for me and even let me walk right up to it for more shots with a flash and never flew off. Wayne witnessed it and said look he just turned and posed again. WOW I can finally say I got some good ones. They are amazing to watch with a long strink like tongue used to get the sweet nectar from flowers.......so pretty. Check these out.
