    Stupid question - if you do a cruise like this to Rick's or say Ivan's, are they able to dock somewhere to drop you off? Some of the excursions I've seen that go to Rick's, it almost looks like you have to swim to shore.

    Not stupid question . If you don't know you don't know .You are correct you do have to swim in.They usually pull up a safe distance as not to get too close because of the Cliff divers and others that want to swim in that area.

    They will take you to the concrete platform if you do not want to swim in, at least at Ivan's. Rick's has a lot of people in the water most times and that might be a different story.
