    Curry Shrimp

Who has the best? Loved it from Irie on the Beach, but I don't think that restaurant is still there. Last time we stayed at Grand Pineapple, so we didn't eat out much.

Never have tried "seapuss" as our Jamaican friends call octopus. What does it taste like?? Is it similar to conch?? I'm always up for trying new foods and this post peaked my interest.

Yetta, yes you could say its sort of like conch...it has a mild flavor and the texture is more tender than conch...Cosmos does it right...

OOOOH...curry octopus? I've never even noticed octopus on a menu in Negril, but have only eaten at Cosmo's one time. MUST GO BACK.

LOL!! Yes, I have seen one! They are rather slimy looking creatures. However, all of our Jamaican friends are always so psyched when they catch one...and they go on and on about how delicious they are. So, think I'll take a walk on the wild side and try it this trip. I never thought I would eat curried goat or oxtail either. But, they were surprisingly good to me. But thanks for the heads up westcoast! I am a pretty adventurous eater. Last trip tried escovitched Lionfish and it was off the hook good...granite, they are a pretty fish...grin.....
