Have been in Negril for many Christmas's and New Years. We had no problem finding a place to eat. Almost everyone was up and running. It is such a festive and "alive" time to be in Negril. You will absolutely love it! The only thing that is a problem would be the banks and ATM's. Christmas Day and the day after, "Boxing Day" the banks will be closed. I have not had any problems with the ATM's, but locals have suggested that one gets money prior to these days, since many folks will be taking out cash. As you know, sometimes as with the current...it can be finish! This may not be a problem now, since they have added more ATM's. We have never had a problem but have always been aware that one could exist, so we got a bit of cash early.
Pon da cliffs, most places are open. Haven't stayed on the beach for a few years, but I would imagine dining will be no problem mon!! This is going to be one boardie loaded holiday fi sure!
Hope we will all meet sometime during our stay. The countdown is officially on...........
