Exactly Yvonne!! Done trips with boyfriend, a friend and her daughter....and much better off on my own. No schedule to follow, nap when I want, walk when I want.....no one telling me I need to be ready for this or that....

Anyone who has traveled solo, what did you do about transportation from airport? Did you arrange a private driver or has anyone done a regular transfer with other people traveling the same time as you? Is Clive's the only one who has that option?

I've done ever option known to man. The best ones are CLives and then the (more affordable) Juta bus, which often requires waiting for others to fill the bus and/or several stops at other hotels (RIU is always first).

It can be hassle coming back when they stop at hotels pick ups, because for some reason folks are less in a rush to leave than they are to arrive!

So, if u use Juta, do u make a reservation beforehand, or just go to the desk once u get thru customs?

Hi everyone, my wife and I honeymooned in 1990 and have been back 4 times together, once after a great trip together in Ocho I took my 16 year old son, it was a great trip but I was kinda lost without her, I guess I'll have to try since she cant go this time because of work, is there a hotel that has more of a solo vibe?
