Thanks for such a great report with such nice photography. I may well have to get some of those passes next time at the airport. Drinks and food....sounds pretty darn good to me. What kind of food was offered??

PS, I had to laugh at hoping for a delay or an offer to be forced to stay in Mobay a night before leaving. It happened only once for us, but at that time, there was no way we could accept...they overbooked and were going to put us up, plus a free roundtrip next time. This was about 8 years ago or so. We both had work commitments so we opted out. I could kick myself now!!! It has NEVER happened again, now days, we could take them up on it. OH well, live and learn. Thanks for taking us along with you for the trip!!

Great report Roy. Looks like you and your lady had a great time. I've always wanted to be delayed over night or bumped and it never happens (have been delayed by Air Ja for many hours but no offers LOL)

What kind of food was offered??

They had mostly finger foods - mini tuna sandwiches, mini cheese sandwiches, nachos, fruit, and nuts. But I was very surprised when the waiter brought us two mini beef patties. Excellent.
