It just keeps on giving:
Notice my Red Stripe in the last picture for perspective. The bottle was sitting on about 2 feet of seaweed.

Holy crap!!! That is a crazy amount of seaweed! The smell must have been horrid! Sad to see all the garbage mixed up in it as well![]()
The sea was returning the empties! Guess it was great for the shell collectors as long as you could handle the smell!
Trip #59 most of February
Lots of Conch shells for sale!
Holy crap!
How will they get rid of it all?
Wow... I believe they bury it maybe burn it. still wow ...
Yuck !!!
No worries mon! It has been cleaned up. The government came in with backhoes and trucks and carted it all off - the places that received less were able to simply bury it as it came in....
Negril.com - For the vacation that never ends!
Yes, we saw backhoes in action at the Treehouse, Margaritaville, and Rondel VIllage. Unfortunately, on those days I left my camera in the room. It was constantly getting coated with salt spray from the winds coming in off the sea and I was weary of trying to keep the lens clean. Everyting was coated - sunglasses, hair, clothes, contact lenses, cameras, windows, etc. It even coated and killed some of the vegetation, which will come back.
