Janie. The "back story" behind the reluctance to bring a "very small package" out of Jamaica is understandable. After all, a lot of smuggling of drugs etc. has been done this way before. I know you are not doing this but when you add "health related" to the picture I envision being searched at the airport and being asked about prescriptions that are not in my name.

i should have included more information in my message as i think people were thinking all kinds of things! (: i needed someone to take my hearing aid to the u.s. and mail it to my clinic. i didnt want to send fedex from ja because it can be a hassle and hearing aids are very expensive. i DID find someone to help me that is leaving ja on saturday. thanks to all who responded!
