If you ship a barrel or crate to arrive when you do, you count it as unaccompanied luggage, get the slip (yellow paper?) from the AIRPORT Customs and that will save you a good amount on you final customs bill. However, it is possible that certain fees/taxes have increased regarding imported goods so a little more research to weigh pros/cons of buying local vs shipping from US is advised.Originally Posted by all smiles

Hi annaleise, I am from Italy and I also bought an apartment in the lbcc. I bought most of the furniture in kingston at singer. there is a beautiful shop in montego bay called bohios but its very very expensive. beautiful furniture, but I couldn't afford it. I didn't take in consideration to ship anything because it would take too long and quite complicated from Europe. By the way when do you plan to go to jamaica, or when do you intend to move in the villa? I hope to get there in july? Am not sure if everythin is going to be ready by that time.

I am also from Canada and considering purchasing at LBCC. How have you found it so far? We would like to rent our unit when we are not there to help offset the costs. Has anyone rented and how often ? We just returned from Jamaica and didn't know about this development when we were there. Wish I could go see the development and houses with my own eyes so any advice or feedback to help us make a decision would be greatly appreciated!

I am sitting on the fence thinking about a 2br on the bluff. I want to use it a couple weeks a year and rent it out weekly the rest of the time. What do you guys think about Little bay country club? Anyone have any problems or issues with selective homes the developer?
