If you ship a barrel or crate to arrive when you do, you count it as unaccompanied luggage, get the slip (yellow paper?) from the AIRPORT Customs and that will save you a good amount on you final customs bill. However, it is possible that certain fees/taxes have increased regarding imported goods so a little more research to weigh pros/cons of buying local vs shipping from US is advised.
