Lady Jane - your mom rocks!! I too will be turning the big 5-0 in December, Negril seems to be the place for that! I hope you're able to find something

Thanks for all the suggestions. I am familiar with Crystal Waters and Yellow Bird, areas. I have not stayed near the end/start of the beach where Negril Beach Club Condo is located. Is that a wide area of the beach? Plenty of shade? Near the beach market?

Trees would love to hear more. The TA reviews ( very few of them and old) are making me question YB.

Crystal Waters! You wont be dissapointed, Yellowbird is not in the same class as Crystal Waters, not even close.

I would definitely say Negril Beach Club Condos. I contacted Jean Gaynair like everyone suggested and I got a great studio room. I hope this helps...I'm sure Jean can provide you with a ground floor room, large enough for you, your mom and your husband.

Depending on what your willing to pay, NBCC is not in the same class as Crystal Waters either, they are villas on the beach. Yellowbird is more of rustic cabins, which I would stay at no problem, but not the same accomodations as C.W.

TreeHouse....loved it! we had a suite on the second floor, but I know the first floor has them too...they have a kitchen area with microwave , stove, and fridge....breakfast included at restaurant. Has a nice bar! Beach is great...it's right next to Country Country....just a little away from Margharitaville (however you spell it)....it's kind of central on the beach. They have a pool too. We had me and my husband in the back bedroom suite and my boys had murphy beds that pulled down from the wall in the living room.....they said the murphy beds were comfortable....
