Hi Aaron Mindy! from what i can see, there are two events going on in Negril at that time.
One is the "Great Escape" which is in conjunction with Carnival being celebrated through JA. There are a number of events that pay tribute to similar parties that would take place in Trinidad for Carnival - I'm hoping to participate in a couple of those as I used to live in Trini! Both events are a series of all inclusive parties throughout the weekend. There may be live performances but it appears to be mainly DJs. Other than that, I haven't seen anything about any big reggae acts performing. Hopefully someone local can add to this post if they are seeing any signs around town.

We normally stay at the NBCC's but had to book a bit later than normal. We ended up at the The Palms so it should be an interesting change up for the wife and I. Will probably try and make out to the Canoe and Sunset After Dark. We are leaving on the 22nd and just staying the week.
