Hi-Lo or Mega-Mart
Does anyone know if Hi-Lo is open on Sundays and if so until what time. Will arrive on a Sunday. I really feel Mega-Mart is kind of huge after a long morning traveling but don't want go all the way to Negril to find Hi-Lo is closed just want staples. Thanks

Last time I went to Megamart on a Sunday, it held me hostage because of the lines.

you can pay for your purchase w/US$'s & get your change back in J$'s at a good (within a J or 2) rate.
Lifesaver on a sunday when the cambios are closed & the ATMs are out of order

Great tip about getting some Jamaican currency (at a fair rate) at the HiLo on a Sunday evening!
Yup...good tip...Mega Mart does it also as does other larger grocery stores.
