We rented from Island last year and they were great, but I have waited too late and they are out of cars. Thrifty and Avis have pretty good rates. Thrifty is a little better, but Avis has pickup at the MBJ terminal. Although, it looks like Thrifty's office is really close, just up on Queen's Drive, so it may be worth it.
Anyone have experience with either of these rental companies?

Avis in the teminal vs Thrifty elsewhere.............. I can't imagine leaving the airport (cab fare ) and going somewhere ( soon come ) to save ( ? ) a few dollars. Avis in the terminal. Slam Dunk!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have rented from Island almost every year and they are great. When they haven't had cars on my day, they have dropped them off in Negril for $35.00 right to my hotel. I just took a minibus and enjoyed the ride.
