Either work, I prefer lime.. SIM was a few hundred, another 1500 gets me enough intl, local, and internet credit for my trip.. but I only call home a few minutes a day.. lime has internet for 50j a day (*146*50#) and works great island wide.

I don't think designated international minutes are necessary. Regular credit for international calls is only 3 cents a minute on Lime. I would just use Internet via free wifi, however at $50j a day, you can't go wrong. Is that unlimited data? Hmm, I'm going to upgrade my iPhone 4 in November. Looks like once I get it unlocked, it'll be my new Jamaican phone - that'll be heaven compared to my cheap Samsung unit, especially when it comes to texting!
Lime has the best rates for calling back home.....and for calling around Jamaica
though most Jamaicans have Digicel and having dem call or text Lime will burn up der credits......
mi go with Lime......$300J's for a Lime Sim Card........
think Digicel was like $550J's for der Sim card........whatever it is.......it's more than Lime
