I stayed there for a month about 3 years ago(loved it). I stoped by last April and The guy watchin the place said John moved back to Cali. The place was very overgrown and in need of a makeover!! The property has a path out to the morass with an awesome lookout tower that's great for sunrises over the mountains!!
Right next to Greenleaf cabins and Best in the West.

Thanks! Unfortunately from their availability calendar they are booked. I'm going over New Year's so it's expected. I will keep them in mind for future trips though!
