RBC Royal Bank ATM

So I was doing some research for our trip next week and checked with RBC to see if they had any ATMs along the route from MoBay to Negril. I know I can use Scotia Bank, but I will save on fees at RBC. RBC's website says they have ATMs at Sangster, at the Fairview Shopping Centre in MoBay and at the Coral Seas Plaza in Negril.

I can't think of anyone ever mentioning an RBC ATM in Negril. Can anyone confirm if it is true? Is there some reason not to be using it, i.e. bad location, always out of cash, etc?

Anyone know where the ATM might be located at Sangster?

I saw one in Mobay when we left in September, don't remember seeing one in Negril. We bank with RBC as well but our fee package allows us free international withdrawals (thank goodnes).

Google search brought up that RBTT is an arm of RBC, maybe the ATM's are labelled RBTT?

Yup, there is one at the coral seas plaza, right before you get to the scotia bank where the west end taxi's park. Only the ATM, not the Branch. Its relatively safe, just take the same caution you would take going to any ATM. (Daytime, busy, etc) The aesthetic of the exterior looks run down, RBC should atleast remodel them as scotia did with theirs, thats my only issue with it.

I don't have my main account at RBC, so don't have a fee package. Prior to my last trip, I noticed that there is RBC in Jamaica. I called to inquire about ATM fees internationally and was told that the RBC is a different entity there than in Canada and I would be charged fees at an RBC ATM the same as if I were to use any ATM in Jamaica. Maybe that's just because I don't have a fee package that specifically includes it.

I use my ATM at the NCB ATM at ValueMaster, no transaction fee upfront and no fudging on the exchange rate to make up for it. My ATM is a MasterCard Debit with Pulse and MoneyPass affinity. However, my bank told me Pulse and MoneyPass are US-only affinity and had no explanation for why NCB doesn't charge me a fee...ValueMaster is just a skip away from ScotiaBank,

The ATM I use at Sangster is to the left as you leave the Arrivals hall - by the sidewalk. I'm pretty sure it is RBC.

Yes, it is in the same building as the Cambio in town. I don't think it charge me a fee.

Thank you all. If I can hit the ATM before I leave Sangster, it is one less thing keeping me from Negril.

I know that the RBC website probably wasn't wrong, but it so nice to get the info from real people!
