    phone card question

    i have used an STI phone for several years to callJA. fron the states. never a problem. they were hit during storm Sandy so service is down and they have no idea how long it will be. what other services or calling cards are avialable? i use verizon for my cell and century link for home phone. thanks,

    I use an app called PennyTalk with my Android phone. It is available to use with any type of phone but it is just for international calls. You can get 44 minutes for $10..it depends on how much you are willing to spend though. Here is a web link for their page http://www.pennytalk.com/

    I've used the 'Verizon International Card' purchased at CVS (on sale BOGO every 6 weeks or so) for the last couple of years w/no problems.
    Good clear connections w/no 'garbage' fees
