    CSA or Sandy Haven?

I am trying to plan the perfect trip for my bf and I. Anyone have any insight to their preferences?

We will be in desperate need of beach, sunshine and relaxation.

Thoughts? All comments are much appreciated. We are traveling over the NYE week so we are booking quickly without as much time for thorough research. Looking up tripadvisor reports now as I type.

Don't know anything about Sandy Haven, but I have stayed at CSA in the past (and will again in the future)...if it's beach, sunshine and relaxation you are looking for, you will find an abundance of it there. Very nice resort and location. I would definitely recommend it.

Kat we did a split stay in Oct with Catcha Falling Star and CSA. We LOVED CSA and will be back. Beach I'd beautiful, drinks are spectacular and the food is really good. We talked with a couple who were at Sandy Haven earlier in the year, they made the comment that they had issues and wouldn't go back, but since we haven't been there I can't say much about it. If you do stay at CSA make sure you go off site to Ivan's for dinner one night, one of the most romantic places for dinner ever. Have fun!

If money is not in the mix then CSA is a no brainer, also, they have a "great"gym/spa/pool area with a bar and if it's a rainy day you can hang there. Atrium rooms are great.

Trip is booked. So excited. CSA is no longer available so we are at Couples.

Thanks to all for your help.

Trip advisor reviews seemed to indicate if all went well at Sandy Haven - it is lovely. But if there was a glitch (as can happen) the owners were less than accommodating. We want to have a issue free trip without any issues - but need peace of mind to know we will have issues resolved should they arise. So we passed on Sandy Haven.

Kat you will have fun no matter where you go, vacation is what you make of it. We have been to real dumps over the years and had the best time, and been to super nice places with many issues, as long as I'm with my beautiful wife thats all that matters! have fun, be safe and enjoy till it hurts!

I guess you mean Couples Negril on Bloody Bay.....Still way better than Sandy Haven. I stayed in the garden rooms and loved it.Bloody Bay is more quiet,serene....Smaller resort but still top notch.

Booked into Couples. We left the booking till rather late as we were not sure about when we would get off work so I felt pressure trying to book - rooms/flights can be tricky to find.

I am really pleased with the booking. Just wish I had a time machine so I could be boarding plane sooner than Dec 28.

    Thanks to all.
