Once again the Firefly team was successful in the Reggae Marathon, Half Marathon and in the 10K.

Congratulations to 85 years old Roy Thomas who completed the marathon and came in 1st in his age group and was still looking strong at the end . The www.jamaicalink.com newsletter later this month will show a photo of Roy at the 26 mile marker making strong progress, as we were not able to transfer it to this message.

Colin Graham has done it again, 2nd in his age group and 2nd again over all in the men's Marathon.

Ron Derringer was 2nd in his age group in the half Marathon.

David Sykes was placed 1st in his age group in the 10k, Cecille Bordato was also placed 1st in her age group (Ladies' Marathon) and Heather Facey 3rd in her age group in the half.

Others in our team may also have won awards.

The Jason McKay led Tae Kwondo team did not join us this year as they had to be in Kingston for an event.

All entrants without a team are invited to join the Firefrly team next year; the date is 7th December 2013.
