The water was too rough for me to swim

I stay across the road, on the Morass side.

I wanted to go swimming this day, so I put on my trunks, grabbed a towel and headed to the hotel office.

Hi Junene, I'm going swimming and I don't want the fishes to steal my key.

She always gets a kick out of that statement.

    Ok, Mark, enjoy it.

So I'm skipping down the walkway and across the street.

I get to the beach and Holy Moley!! Look at those waves!!

The waves were pretty big and rough looking.

Some fools were out there enjoying themselves and laughing every time a big wave would hit them.

Darn it, at breakfast this morning it was nice and calm.

A good lesson to all the boys and girls: When the going is good, get going, dont wait.

Oh well, I can chill with Hope and Tracey at Bar B Barn for a while.

The security guard there is one of the funniest guys in all of Negril.

He sees me coming and starts telling me about all kinds of things that just make me laugh.

He has one of those faces that means he was born to be a comedian.

Ooops, the Key!! I forgot my key!

Oh, that's right, I left it in the office.

So, I changed clothes and called Nick. "Yo, dude, I need to make a run.

Soon, Nick was pulling up the drive way and we were off to see the Wizard.

Man, I need ice, I need beer, I need... You know Burger King and the China-man store are still there, don't you.

    Ok, cool, lets go.

This time we got to the round-about, made the semi circle and heading for the westend road.

Nick made a left turn, across from the China man store.

Marko, you can go in here, the prices are pretty close to the other store.

    Ok,

I hopped out and headed into the store.

It is a lot better than the China man store. (as far as looks) and I headed to the cooler for cold refreshments.

    I grabbed a 6 pack and 3 Smirnoff Reds.

There are 2 lines on either side of the door, but i saw about 3 people in one line, so I stayed in that line and waited my turn.

I do people watching while in line of course.

Since this was my first time (that I can remember) in the store I took my time.

    "Observe Watson, don't just look"

The cost of the beers and stuff was pretty good, I paid and exited the store.

Ice Nick, we must have ice. Mon, the Burger king is right there.

Nick made a U-turn in the street, (god knows how he does it, there was barely room to get out)

We cross over to the burger King side and get in the drive through.

There are 2 speakers on both sides of the drive thru.

I thought the lady was talking to me, but Nick's side heard the same thing.

1 Bag of Ice please" Nick said

    That will be $180J.

I hand over the $$ and Nick hands me a bag of ice.

I throw it in the back and Nick peels out of the driveway headed back down the road.
