Me too! The last flight I had was for a red eye going into Atlanta. I sat in the airport waiting for the over six hours for the next flight out to Mobay. Six hours that could have been spent on the beautiful beach of Negril. A one way flight would be a gift from heaven.
Angel - I prefer red eyes because I can sleep during the flight and I don't feel so much like I'm losing an entire day. They used to be cheaper, but now they're more expensive than the morning flights I'm seeing. I guess I'll take what I can get.Originally Posted by Angel;
Our friend is flying to Negril in November and wants us to join him. We want to go but it all depends on how much we can save up (cutting corners by packing lunch and walking to work every day - keeping the money saved in a little box) and whether or not we can find cheap tickets. ($500 or under) for a one week trip. It seems unrealistic at this point, but that doesn't mean I'm going to give up hope. It's nice to entertain the possibility....
The April trip for our 10 year anniversary is definite. I'm just wondering if purchasing a ticket really far in advance would save more money than...say, waiting until 8 weeks before. These are both off peak trips.
Mr Twister - I can't believe prices from Atlanta are high too. I'm hoping the prices start going down and not UP due to extra added on taxes.![]()
