This will be out first trip to GP, but our 10th to Negril. Where are the good places to go to close to the Grand Pineapple. I know Alfred's is right next door. Any other good tips?

Almost right across the street is the Shamrock which is famous for their fresh squeezed orange juice. They are a small grocery store that has beer and liquor as well. The Italian Cafe a few blocks towards town from the Shamrock has great thin crust pizza. Jamaica Tamboo (lobster pizza) and Kuyaba (my favorite restaurant) are a short walk away on the beach. You may know Alfred's has great food, dirty bananas and killer rum punch Our favorites are the sauteed chicken breast with mashed potatoes but the chicken salad, fish and chips, and soup of the day are great. Don't think I ever had a bad meal there.

They were opening back up last week when I was there.
They were getting ready to put out all new furniture.
