Andrew Tosh was playing Bourbon Beach the following night. I am a huge Peter Tosh fan, so I was really looking forward to it. We were "good" the next day. A lazy beach day, no early drinking, a nice nap. We were actually ready for a late night, rare for us.

Tickets at the door were $1200J. VIP Tickets were $2000. I'm generally not the VIP type. I was thinking we would get close seats or something like that. No, VIP means all-you-can-drink. For an extra 8 bucks, all you can drink all night???? Hell yeah!!! The best deal in Negril! While not a "full" bar, they had plenty of Red Stripes, Several flavors of Smirnoff, Rum, and Mixers. It wasn't Appleton, some cheap brand, but it worked. Overproof was also there, but I will avoid that if at all possible.

Since we were doing the VIP, we showed up early, right at 9:00 to start the night off. It was a fun time. The VIP area is the 2nd floor, a nice view of the bands. There were several openers, all very good. However, even with the nap, my wife and my friends were fading as it got close to 1 am. I am really the only big reggae fan of the bunch, so they decide to go home. They missed the headliner, but still certainly drank there money's worth.

So again, like last night, it is very late, I'm on my own, and pretty intoxicated. This night, however, everything works out great. Fantastic show!!! He really does sound like his dad. I quickly left the VIP area upstairs to find my place front row center on the beach. Had a wonderful time. Dancing to Peter Tosh music on the beach in Negril. Doesn't get much better than that. In contrast to the previous night, everything was perfect with the world. Good music. Good friends. (Yeah, they went to bed, but had fun all night) Got to say hi and shake hands with Andrew Tosh. On the way home I even had a nice, friendly chat with the chicken guy from the night before. Mutual Respect mon. A great night of music in Negril.
