If you won $100 million in the lottery, how loyal would you be to Negril?

Myself, I would buy a private plane to fly right into the Negril and stay for a week at all my favorite hotels, then plan from there!

So, if you had unlimited funds, would you vacation or instantly buy property in Negril?

Oh ya, I would buy the Blue Hole in Roaring River, too. God I could have a lot of fun ....

i probly wouldn't buy property, that's just too much hassle no matter how much money i have. But i'd sure stay there for months at a time; LONG stays at all the various and sundry places i've always wanted to go but could never afford - not just in negril, but all over the rest of the island too....and support those who do own those places. I'd donate to some of the existing support programs there, ones that are trying to do good works but can barely stay in operation on a shoestring. and i might start more, and keep them funded & staffed so they can stay up and running and create jobs.....

I would stay in every hotel in Negril for about 3 days each. (all my friends and family with me) Starting with the All-Inclusives in bloody bay work my way across the seven mile beach and up to the cliffs.
Then I would rent a little beach cottage with Wifi for 3 months and type out a long trip report. lol
During that time I would go around to the local schools and help out everywhere I could.
After a while, I would probably check out some other places in the world that I've been curious about.
But my home base would be Jamaica and San Francisco

I'd try the Caves and definitely grab a cliff cottage at Rockhouse. Don't know if I would buy property in Negril, but would probably spend at least one month out of twelve there...

I would be there in a flash, buy property, rent, whatever! I would then begin building schools, animal shelters, and community centers. 100 million could help alot of people
Blue Cave Castle would definately be a nice place to live, summer in Canada.

we have had this discussion many many times and this is what we have come up with. We would find a hotel right on the beach that we could "buy into", we would then renovate a floor of said hotel into our living area(this is the only way we have been able to figure living right on the beach!lol!) Then we would spend our days hanging and making friends with all the visitors to "our bar" and any "work" we had to do wouldnt really feel like work!I have always wanted to own a bar and i cant think of a better place than negril to do that!! Ahhhhhh.....this dream and the lottery ticket in my wallet get me through the day some days!lol!

There's an old yiddish saying that goes "If my grandmother had balls she'd be my grandfather". But I'll play -
First, I've always said if I won any lottery of any sort I'd donate a good part of it. Many of the benefactors would be organizations near and dear to me in Negril but not exclusively - there's lots of people and places that need help. I'd also gift a good part to my friends and family - my god-kids in particular.

Next, I'd probably finally buy something on the West End. But I'd also buy a Penthouse in NYC, a condo in San Francisco and a place in Europe somewhere, probably France.

Then I'd spend my life bopping between my home in Bodega and all those places.

    That's what I'd do
