Hmmmmm favorite reggae artist? Jimmy Cliff and "Vietnam" digs deep into my soul and I notice that "Many Rivers to Cross" is on a lot of my favorite playlist. Gregory Isaacs ode to addiction "Night Nurse" hits me close. Duane Stephenson, Damian & Lucky Dube followed me around the 90's and 00's. When I looked at my most played The Skatalites pop up. Shaggy, Toots, The Pioneers, Nasio for a short time, Marcia Griffiths always,,,, No over 30 40 years it has to be Jimmy
I have won many awards in a lifetime of competition and service. But the highest was offered without plaque or fanfare on a hilltop in post Ivan Jamaica. A true Rasta and a dear friend observed "Chet you are like a father of men, you see need and fulfill that need without being asked". Let us be travelers and not tourist.

Mr. Brown is way up on my list. Many people believe it is about heroin, but I think it is really about an old Jamaican folklore spirit
