Our last trip in was 2005.
Suzuki Samuri and yes 12 hours,,,,, but we had the next day to re-cup on the beach.
I love to drive so we did the South Coast to Mandeville up tje mountains to Spalding, then we cut off just north of Cave Valley and took a little windy path in the back door. Our way out was Claremont down to St Ann's then A1 back across.
25 year old rum at Spur Tree, KFC in Mandeville, shared juice and banana chips with school kids somewhere west of 9 Mile, the tourist Casa in Rio Bueno and supper at Cosmo's. A long glorious day.
I laugh at the head gear when I watch the pic video, some forgot the effects of hours of topless wind swept jeep.
I have driven A1 a couple times lately and it is in great shape. I'm sure North Coast over and back would be much more expediant,,,, but on my vacation adventure trumps expediency any time.
A pic video,,,, Trip to 9 Mile about 3:00 to 6:00, I notice no pics coming down to St Ann's and that was a roller coaster, must have been very cameraless mellow by then.
