Dirty Banana
1 medium banana
1-1 1/2 oz. Tia Maria
table sugar to taste
milk or cream
add ice & blend

( I do not add at home) Overproof is then added and also poured down straw

Honestly there is a measurement that is used but i have made them so many times I just free pour everything and the chocolate syrup I coat inside glass with as well as squirt a little in blender.

Dirty Banana...
2 oz. Tia Maria
2 oz. dark rum
2 oz. rum cream
4 oz. milk
1 oz. simple syrup
3/4 banana
Ice

Fill blender 3/4 way with ice and all ingredients. Blend until thick and smooth...Makes two servings...

Not exactly a dirty banana but here's what I use.
Ice, banana flavor rum, rum cream, Irish cream, banana.

Found this recipe and it sounds similar to the one at Idle Awhile.
2 0z tia maria
2 oz dark rum
2 oz rum cream
4 oz milk
1 oz simple syrum
3/4 of a banana
ice
I personally like mine with an over proof fum floater. Makes it more worth the calories. (oops, just saw the same recipe posted above. minus the over proof

I wonder if one could substitute soy milk...has anyone tried that?

I would try coconut milk sweetened. Soy milk has a flavor not for this drink
