Anyone in Negril know if Sea Splash is open or closed??
They are open. I saw a couple of Trip Advisor postings that were somewhat recent, and all but one were good reviews. If the airfare would drop I'm ready to book another Sea Splash vaca!
Curious what makes you believe they were closed? When I was there in Oct I asked how many guest were staying there as it was DEAD. The answer was zero! What a change from when Jim was there promoting the place and the bar was hopping..... We did run into Rasta Dave who no longer works there but still hangs out from time to time.
Booger, just wondering because I usually have contact with people I know there. Haven't "seen" them in several days. My husband and I have been going there for coming up on 14 years. He,my husband was there right before Thanksgiving, and they were busy because of a wedding. I'll probably call in the next day or so. Oh and love Rasta Dave!
We were there at the beginning of Dec. They were doing fine. In fact they had just painted the rooms we were in. I would say they were at least half booked so I don't see any reason they would be closed. Everyone was very friendly and the new/old owner Patrick was very nice and concerned that everything was ok.
I was there in August and they had a lot of PR work to do to repair the damage that Jim did. They are slowly rebuilding their Rep.
Just got my answer! OPEN!!!![]()
I could have been drunk, well... I know I was drunk... but Over thanksgiving I could have sworn there were a good amount of people there.
Flipadelphia, there were a lot then. I was talking within the last week or so. There have been times over the years they have closed down. They are under new management again. I would love to see them do well!!
Yes you were drunk Flip, but your right it was quite busy when we were there at the end of november.
