After four days we finally have power at the Beach Club. Seems as though the bills weren't paid so the power lines were cut at 1:30 on Friday. Last night at 8:30 we got power to the timeshares and the hotels. Thanks Jean and Mrs McNeil for paying to have the power turned back!

That sucks Claudia.4 days is along time with a frig full of food.Hope they work that out before my next reach.
It only affected the Timeshares & Mariners units. We were in condos rented thru Jean,Deandra & Turlian and never lost power . Something odd going on in Time share land when they stop paying the JPS bill for several months it would seem..!
The problem is a result of the new guy who took over the hotel. I was told that when he first took over he jacked up the condo fees for all of the owners by something like 30%. The owners got together and took it to court where they won. The new guy was instructed to repay the others the amount that was above and beyond what was allowed. This amounted to roughly 4 months condo fees for all the owners;so they have not paid anything for 4 months to make up for what they were overcharged. He has not covered the bills as he should have(could be appealing I don't know);Jean and the restaurant have their own meters and pay their bills on time which is why they didn't lose power. I was told that should this continue too long Mrs. McNeil may step in and take back control.Originally Posted by Creasemon
I stated that it only effected the hotel and timeshares! It did effect the condos in the fact that a diesel generator was running outside a few rooms! There is a lot of cleanup going on today (related to this) and all is better. Mrs McNeil appears to be in control along with Jean! Are you on sight Puff Daddy or just going by what "you hear"?
The power went off for the condos also?? Puff Daddy has pretty much stated my understanding also which is from onsite and from what I was told from a very reliable source. The property is falling apart and it's a really sad situation but I am hoping and praying that control is taken away from Raz Ofer.
We are currently sitting on the porch of our timeshare unit. With power! All sorts of interesting things going on!
I can't wait for those "interesting things happening" to turn into positive things happening!
