It only affected the Timeshares & Mariners units. We were in condos rented thru Jean,Deandra & Turlian and never lost power . Something odd going on in Time share land when they stop paying the JPS bill for several months it would seem..!

The problem is a result of the new guy who took over the hotel. I was told that when he first took over he jacked up the condo fees for all of the owners by something like 30%. The owners got together and took it to court where they won. The new guy was instructed to repay the others the amount that was above and beyond what was allowed. This amounted to roughly 4 months condo fees for all the owners;so they have not paid anything for 4 months to make up for what they were overcharged. He has not covered the bills as he should have(could be appealing I don't know);Jean and the restaurant have their own meters and pay their bills on time which is why they didn't lose power. I was told that should this continue too long Mrs. McNeil may step in and take back control.Originally Posted by Creasemon
