    Negrilaholic in need of help...

I guess I would be classified as a lurker (although that term seems creepy) to this board so I am sure that folks can help me out with some great suggestions. First, some quick background. My family stumbled upon Negril a few years ago and spent the week before Christmas in both 2010 and 2011 at the Beach House Villas. It was a great alternative to buying presents for each other (unless you count red stripes). I found Negril.com when researching for the first trip and now logging on is almost a daily routine. This year, my daughter got married so Negril was not in the cards. I should be there right now and it is killing me! So, like any certified Negril addict would do, I am getting ready to push the button for next year. Here is my problem, I am looking to return the Saturday after Christmas and stay for a week. I am traveling with my wife, daughter, son-in-law and son. Although we enjoy visiting the cliffs, we must stay on the beach. The BHV's are booked already for that week. What other options do I have for a place on the beach that would sleep five (2 bedrooms and a sleeper sofa will do the trick)? As long as I am posting, I just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading the trip reports on here. I still think that a movie should be made about the trials and tribulations of certain turtles. Thanks in advance for any help.....

Check with Gail at Treehouse - I bet she would graciously take care of your needs. Coco la Palm is another place that gets good reviews. You came to the right place for help. Bless Up your trip!

Tropicalbreeze.ca isn't right on the beach, but only a 5 minute walk. Lots of room for everyone. Great prices too.

I have stayed at Nirvana 3 times. It is very relaxed and it's amazing to have meals made for you in your own cottage without having to deal with the all-inclusive zoo. We would chill out at the beach and then come back to a meal waiting for us on the stove. Amazing!

You should check out....Crystal Waters (I'm pretty sure that's what its called). Little houses, well kept, with personal cleaning lady/cook. Haven't stayed there but checked it out when visiting friends and it looks great for a family set up.

Beach House Villa's is directly next door to Negril Beach Club Condo's. Contact Jean Naygair directly but they have a 2 bedroom and a 1 bedroom that has 3 beds 2 in huge bedroom with 2 dressers and one in living area that are both newly remodeled units and rent for 1/2 to 1/3 of what Beach House Villa's usually rents for. These units have a full Kitchen large deck and full livingroom. I think i have pics of that one bedroom in my pics on here i have stayed in the one in the G building a couple times now.
