Help : Seattle - MBJ flight prices?

I have a friend living in Seattle that wants to join us in Negril this year I have noooo idea what price she should be paying for flights! We're going the end of February. Anyone know average/good prices for that time of year? Best Airline? Best time to watch for deals? Help, lol!

I live in Montana and got a flight the week after your week in the $600s. Thought that was a good deal...anything around that price I would go with. Then again, Montana prices are prolly higher. Best airline? Anyone but Delta. United has a connect in Houston that makes sense as far a direct path to mbj. I like watching prices on Yapta.
