Day 1:
Travel day.Left St. Augustine at 0700. Flight was on time. but there was an issues when we landed. The prying marshall (the guy with the red sticks) parked us 3 feet too far from the jetway. Most passengers had gotten up and started pulling the carry ons from the bins. Captain says the tug will pull us the three feet but the plane can't move unless all passengers are back in their seats with all luggage stored.
Oy veh. Everything back in the bins, strapped in to our seats, exit doors re armed. Three feet forward. OK. now we can leave the plane.
Customs and immigration was about 45 minutes. Linton was waiting and off to Negril. One stop for patties and a beer and off to Seastar. Got there at about 1700. Longest trip time in three years.
Threw the bags in the room and went to Canoe to say hi to Rob and Lisa and of course Yetta and Westend girl. We had a couple of drinks and then to 3 dives to see Paula and Lloydie and eat a food.
Crashed at about 2100…….
Day two:
Up at 0630. Get logged in to the network. Write a bit of code for eCaptainsschool.com and then to breakfast. Waiting for Linston to come carry us to the yard. More later....
