Where can I rent a good bike on the deep West End? And how much $ can I expect to pay per day?
I'm ready to roll!

You can get one at Garfields bike rental/Banmark cambio right past Hungry Lion restaurant for 1300J. I would call or go the day before to let them know when you want it. We did that and then when we got there the next day, he still had to jump on a scooter, go down the road and came back riding a bike! lol Enjoy, we are definately doing that again this year. So nice wandering down in that area.

Was it a good bike? Do you remember what the daily rate was?

The cost was about $15/day and it was just an old fashion bike, not a 10 speed.

$15 a day. Wow! Over $100 a week. For that I could get a scooter for a few days. But that kind of defeats the exercise purpose.

Ive been renting a "experienced" mountain bike from Tykes on the west end for the last 4-5 trips. just basic transportation for 10 bucks a day but it does extend ones range quite a bit. the last few trips i did upgrade to a scooter after my head got used to driving on the other side of the road. :P
