So we've been back for a total of 4 days and we're talking about our next Jamaica trip. I'm wishing we were there right now, so we're thinking of going for New Year's next year (2013-2014). We love Ivan's - do they do anything special for NY eve or is it just people having a quiet dinner? Is the beach more fun for NY Eve? We've never been in Jamaica for New Year's so any advice / suggestions are welcome!

I can only speak of this year. I know a solid group of boar dies will be at Bourbon Beach this new year

We wondered the same thing,change in employment as well as a son getting married in the spring may dictate a change from our normal travel dates at Thanksgiving!!
Hmmm, looks like we'll have to resurrect this thread once all the New Year's boardies get back from Negril

Bentley's, Bourbon Beach, Alfreds and Scrub A Dub........
Scrub a Dub is suppose to be having a $700J's drink and food thingy on New Years......seems too good to be true.....lol
and mi would luv to party with Kevin at Bourbon Beach and the gang......since I stayed der three times this year.......lol
and of course Alfreds which is ground zero for fireworks but you can see dem from anywhere in Negril........
and of course at Bentley's to have a great meal and some beers........
