    Re: Beach Club

I just sent off my deposit to Jean for our Condo I am glad to hear that Lingah and the bar are going to be operating while we are there. There are lots of good places close by for sure but they are so convenient to have right on the property. Lets hope some of the other 'issues' clear themselves up sooner than later.

    Re: Beach Club

It's been about a year now since I started to follow the posts of NBCC & all the constant guessing game you all choose to go though with this place. This will be my 22nd year coming there & three properties later all in the cliffs. Ivan took the first one (Drumville Cove)..2 years later at Catch in Libra at Ivan rebuild rates dirt cheap...then my current cliff property with the sea so close I can throw a rock in it. My point being I've never ever have to go through any worry crap you all again choose to do. I rent a motorcycle for my 5 week stay...so I'm at the beach everyday. I get the vibe thing coming back to your property every year..seeing your local friends....I feel the same way....been buying gifts for a select few since I returned this past March..still buying...but to have keep worrying what I'm going to be in for when all i what to do is put my luggage in the room & go grab the beverage of your choice after a very long day of travel & chill. I just don't get it. But I expect I'll continue to see the same banter going on come this winter season.

That's because you've never stayed there. BTW... it's not NBCC, it's the hotel side... the Beach Club. Two different things.

Guess we're just optimists. It's great to know there's finally light at the end of the tunnel.

And you couldn't give it to me either with all that bad vibe...Time Share/Beach Club/NBCC..it's the same piece of property..same beach. I have very good friends there who had....as of last year..a time share there. There time share is up & they moved on. I used to dive out of there so I'm familar with it. Optimists..maybe...light at the end of the tunnel..huummmm. We'll see what the future posts bring. I wish you all well this year...again.

Ah what's life without a little drama. As Yvonne said its worth it. The 'vibe' that you speak about is quite a bit different when you are actually there. To me and my friends, and apparently others, its a great place to stay and the ups definitely out weigh the downs. Everyone has their idea what Jamaica is about and what makes them happy so enjoy your version! We certainly are going to enjoy ours!

we always loved it there....but as you see in Negril as well as all over...times are a changing...the big guys are taking many dollars from the pot..repairs arent going be done as needed..owners want just as much profit for their invested dollars, so things are going to have to wait...sad we will miss the good memories and times..but places have lasted for many years like this..its the loyal customers who always come back to their "memories"....

"YES,THAT WOULD BE MINE" I said as my leg that at first gave no pain, started dishing it out in large bunches........"
