bullhorn guy just came down the beach announcing the shows at Bourbon Beach and Alfred's, but stated no fireworks. They do have the platform anchored out there, but this doesn't sound like good news. Any one know what's going on? Another place up the beach (? seawind) had a sign saying biggest fireworks in Negril, but at this point that could be one bottle rocket.

I have heard (unconfirmed) that Alfred is working on a site with a donation function in order to fundraise for the future. I , and I know many boardies, would contribute so that the financial responsibility for making the fireworks happen in future will not rest solely on Alfred. I will keep you posted. Canoe will be ringing in the New Year with 2 for 1 lobster dinner, champagne toast at midnight, chinese wish lanterns, gorgeous beach view, LIVE WEBCAST!!!, and planty of good cheer! I would hit LTU Pub for a great meal and drinks...and then head to Sea Wind for the fireworks!! Looks like its gonna be a blast!!
maybe mi will do LTU.....then stop at Canoe...then stop at Corner Bar...then Stone Love...then the beach...finish at Scrub A Dub.....heck who knows....maybe mi might just party in da yard.....lol

Lookin like LTU for some coconut shrimp first, then back to the beach, maybe with a stop at Canoe. Bon fire going at White Sands, should be able to see the fireworks from here, also some other guests here have their own.
